Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria (Lucy Hale) were able to set some of their problems aside in the June 13 episode of Pretty Little Liars. (provided via Hollywood Reporter)

‘Pretty Little Liars’ reunites all of the original couples — maybe

With the end of Pretty Little Liars nearing, the episodes are picking up steam. In the June 13 episode, things heated up in the bedroom, in the woods, on the couch and in a judge’s office. Here's what happened with all of the couples in the episode.

Haleb — Hanna and Caleb

In last week’s episode, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) proposed to Hanna (Ashley Benson), but the engagement was short-lived.

When the all of the liars are called into the police station by Lieutenant Tanner (Roma Maffia) — yes, she’s back! — Caleb decided to speed up the wedding process. He surprised Hanna and took her to the courthouse, and he even brought wedding bands. But the biggest and sweetest surprise came when Ashley (Laura Leighton) strutted up to them with a bouquet in hand. Mamma Marin is always prepared.

The two say “I do” and became the first PLL characters to tie the knot. Fans of the relationship would have it no other way.

Emison — Emily and Alison

Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) have been through a lot in recent episodes, but they had to face another challenge as a couple — telling their friends.

Emily accidentally let slip that she and Alison were sleeping in the same bed when they suspected A.D. was in their house. The girls — except Aria (Lucy Hale) — immediately caught on.

“It’s about time,” Hanna said.

After getting questioned by Tanner, Alison took Emily through the woods to the Kissing Rock. First off, going through the woods late at night when a stalker is out to get you is not the best idea. But the romantic picnic Alison set up is a very sweet gesture, and Emily thought so too. The two don’t eat much of the food and instead strip down to their birthday suits and get it on in the woods. Hopefully they didn’t get any bug bites in places they don’t want them.

Ezria — Ezra and Aria

Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria have had their fair share of drama throughout the series, and with Aria joining A.D.’s team to keep a police report secret, their relationship has suffered greatly. But all of their problems seemed to dissolve in Tuesday’s episode.

After the girls found out Aria has been working for A.D., she is ostracized. The only person she felt she could turn to was Ezra. She told him about the police report she filled out against him but never filed. Ezra already knew about it because he found it a couple of days earlier.

Aria said she was ready to tell him everything, but first she had to do something. She pounces on him and kisses him. The two amp up the steaminess and have sex on their leather couch — and there was a nice overhead shot of Ezra with just a blanket covering his butt. The whole scene was a blessing.

Spoby — Spencer and Toby

Toby (Keegan Allen) hasn’t made an appearance on the show since Spencer (Troian Bellisario) comforted him after Yvonne’s death — that is, until this episode.

Toby showed up to the Radley in a yellow flannel and sporting a bushy beard to tell Spencer she could hang out in his cabin if she wanted to. It wasn’t as weird as it sounds, but Toby might succeed in a career as a lumberjack. Anyway, Spencer didn’t think that would be a good idea, but at the end of the episode, she knocks on his door. Spencer is assertive with him and goes in for the kiss shortly after arriving. The two take it to his bedroom and hook up. The moment seemed like a victory for Spoby fans, but some noticed a change in Spencer’s demeanor and appearance.

People on Twitter noticed Spencer changed her clothes, her hair was a little straighter and she was acting more confident. PLL is known for throwing twists, and there are rumors that another character has a twin — Spencer. The theory would explain why she was acting and looked different. Maybe this will be a twist in the final two episodes. (Excuse me while I cry).

Pretty Little Liars airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Freeform.
